Julian Peter Burgan

Julian Peter Burgan, 32, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on November 10th, 2025.

Julian was born on April 16th, 1993, in Clifton, NJ, to Debra (Pankiw) and Jerry Burgan. To all who knew Julian, he was known for his good sense of humor and easygoing nature, his caring and generosity, and his occasional, yet lovable grumpiness.

He was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend to many. Never a fair-weather fan (Fins up!) or a fair-weather friend, Julian was always there for his people and the things he believed in.

Julian’s passion and knowledge about all things history, politics, music, and sports made him a fierce trivia competitor. When he wasn’t playing trivia or on the golf course, he enjoyed reading, listening to the latest pod, playing guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Christopher Burgan. He is survived by his wife, Sierra Stern, and their fur family (Marvin, Wilbur, Carm, and Juniper), as well as his father, three siblings Jess, Jared (Mallory), and Daniel (Kristine Eng), nieces and nephew Leo, Rory, Elise, and Edith, and countless family members and friends who loved him deeply.

Julian will be profoundly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him and to be loved by him.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from 1-4 pm and 6-7 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm at Vladimir S. Corba Funeral Home, located at 300 East Main Street in Carnegie, PA.
